Kurt is a 2nd generation barbershopper -- Mom sang first! He recruited his Dad after joining. Kurt sings the bass part though originally sang baritone when he started barbershopping. After two years of baritone and a 10 year hiatus from barbershopping he came to his senses and started singing the "chosen" part. Kurt and John have sung together before in both SEEYA! (not just a quartet, but a way of life) and SLAP. In addition to singing bass in On Air Kurt sings with the Granite Statesmen of Nashua, NH and serves on the Board of Directors and Music Team.

Kurt is married (19 yrs this year!) to Brenda and has 2 great kids: Jonathan, 15 and Amanda, 10. They currently make their home in Falmouth, ME, just up the road a piece from George.

Professionally, Kurt has made a career of Software Quality Assurance and is currently the QA Manager for DeLorme, a mapping company out of Yarmouth, ME. Prior to joining DeLorme, Kurt spent 22 years in QA for various Video Game companies. Ask him about the Night of a Thousand Wings!
